After a brilliant morning showcasing the York Adventurers archive as part of Lifelong Learning, managed to nip down and visit the Willow House excavations this afternoon. Such a great initiative and some really lovely finds too!

I have had the privilege to meet Ken Cooke on a number of occasions over the years (mainly thanks to the sterling efforts of Nick Beilby!). His story, and those of the other York Normandy Veterans, should never be forgotten. So glad he's made it back to France this year.
Had an amazing time tonight talking about the research potential in the York Adventurers archive! Thank you to everyone who came!
As a former banking archivist, I'm really looking forward to supporting this conference, connecting with business historians and showcasing our business collections. And I see there might even be some banking archivists attending! Mike Anson @MariaSienk Sara kinsey
It's a bit warm today for hoofing it across the city from campus, but I too have now made it to the rather smart York St John's dining hall! Do come and say hi! Economic and Business History Society
