Ramzy is the best editor I've ever worked with, bar none.
He's the absolute powerhouse of the newsroom - and has transformed openDemocracy's editorial output into a phenomenal success.
Along with other colleagues being made redundant, he will be massively, massively missed.
It has been an absolutely brilliant experience working with and being edited by Ramzy this past 9 months. Wishing him and everyone openDemocracy affected the best.
(As someone who has been through redundancy and gone into freelancing, always happy to chat)
