I took a well needed break from Social Work but upon reflection, I know I meant to be in the profession. This popped up in my emails this morning and it couldn’t have made me happier, this is huge, absolutely huge! Well done to everyone for pushing this.

Book/series/film? Let’s highlight that despite adversities, there are many CEI that go onto become successful, despite sources highlighting otherwise. Not all end up with poor outcomes, just like anyone else in society. Their minds are their gifts 🪄

Part 1: PLEASE SHARE 🤍 As a former care leaver who later became a social worker, I am looking for a publishing company to provide funding for me to write a book. I have had a lot of personal experiences, and I believe that this is my life's mission.

Part 2: I know this book will be extremely powerful as I have so much to say, I want only the best publishers to publish it. A therapist at 24 advised me to write a book, after 6 years I at last have the confidence to do this following years of daily reading and mind work.

Part 3: Even in my career as a social worker, I have always tried to hide the fact that I have been discriminated against in the past. Now, however, I want to be able to show the world that despite your background, you can overcome adversity, despite broken systems.

Part 4: Naturally, there is always something to learn in life, and I hope that this book will teach a lot of people something. My request is that I would like a year funded abroad with my dog with me and I can compose this book in peace as it will be a mind-blowing book.

Part 5: Because I am so certain that the book will be a best seller, the publisher can keep a certain amount of ownership and profit. Kindly share this chain of tweets for myself and I'm happy to have discussions with publishers in regards to this.

Part 6: I look forward to hearing from somebody. I am aware that this is a long shot, but I am passionate about it, so I will not give up. Laura 🤍
