We reopen for the 2018 on Sunday 20th May, and trains will be running on the yellow shaded dates shown in the calendar. Please note - due to the early date of Easter this year, and major repair work currently underway on our workshop roof, we will not be open at Easter.

Busy flanging plates for Velinheli's new boiler with our friends from Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways

All change. Covertcoat being towed by diesel Simplex and put into the main workshop ready to have work done ready for her 10 year boiler exam. The Gherkin had to be moved out and then back in again.

Covertcoat's boiler now off the frames for overhaul, with the old tubes being removed for replacement.

Only 10 days to go. We open again for the season on Sunday 20th May
