This morning I got around to doing some firmware updates of my devices! Upgraded the dock firmware on my Dell WD22TB4, and the system firmware on my 11th gen Framework all from #fwupd in Ubuntu. Shout out to @hughsient for the excellent fwupd and LVFS!

Today, USB-IF released new updated versions of the USB4, USB PD, and USB Type-C specifications. They also announced the official branding, and I guessed right. Products with the new USB4 tech at the highest speed level now will be called "USB 80Gbps".

I will never not praise Framework's USB-C charger design. It's one of the few bundled chargers from a laptop OEM that uses two international standard receptacles and replaceable cables on both ends. Another win for modularity and repairability!
