In light of JB Pritzker's state of the state address, we asked Linda Brito Trabajadores Unidos how she would define the state of the workers. We still have a long way to go to equip enforcement agencies with the resources & policies workers need to have real economic stability on the job.

This treatment is a needless economic burden often resulting in job loss. Illinois families need fully funded enforcement agencies anchored by community partnerships to ensure workers are protected.

Pritzker remains committed to supporting working families but we want to make sure that our officials are in touch with what they're really experiencing. We’re seeing just as much if not more retaliation and mistreatment at workplaces.
