Charles Leo Daniel was a 61-year old Trinidadian immigrant detainee who died after spending 4 YEARS in solitary confinement. Disgusting to see Washington Corrections lying about it - no matter their faux correction

Tobby Hatley, media manager Washington Corrections, told me Charles Leo Daniel, the man who died at ICE facility in Tacoma last month, was never in solitary while in prison. this is the level of transparency ICE Senator Patty Murray staff visited ICE detention center in Tacoma about 15 minutes after Charles Leo Daniel was first found dead. Yet her office only found out about Daniel's death by reading the news later that day. knkx.org/tacoma/2024-03…

BREAKING: Today, a federal judge greenlit our lawsuit against Western Union for sharing customer data with ICE. This is a victory for our communities and a step in holding private companies accountable for using immigrants to profit from.

Activists at NWDC are being faced with intimidation by GEO guards despite the encampment being on public city property, they call for supporters to flood GEO phone lines & let them know they have no jurisdiction over city property+they have blood on their hands, call 253 396-1611
