TTRPG Tip 71. It’s the thinnest of lines between “revealing new information” (fun) and “gotcha” moments (not fun). Sometimes they seem indistinguishable. Remember: don’t trick players when it’s something that’d be obvious to PCs. Give clues that players can see before surprises.
