Lap the Lough What a great event. Brilliantly run and everyone was so friendly. If you could sort the weather out for next year, that would be great!!
Thanks to the organisers and all of the volunteers working at this year’s Lap the Lough Another excellent event with great marshalling and signage throughout. Glad to have completed it again in spite of the weather challenges!
Congratulations to our Business Development Manager Martin Moore who completed the arduous 90 mile Lap the Lough cycling sportive on behalf of incredABLE yesterday! We're all very proud of you Martin! 📷 If you can, please consider sponsoring him here: justgiving.com/page/martin-mo…

Most of Lough Neagh's problems boil doing it fundamentally being a public asset and, at the same time, not being treated as such. Stormont's shallow gesture politics - and magical thinking around the lough's predicament, more widely - is serving it poorly. Me in Irish Times Opinion
Lap the Lough Did a cycling holiday at the start of July around Lake Constance, 3rd largest fresh water lake in Europe and it's absolutely pristine. Would make you weep for the toilet we've been left with there.

Can NI Assembly Committee for Infrastructure ask Department for Infrastructure to do a pedestrian & cycle count on these new “active travel” projects to determine effectiveness? How much modal shift has this generated in these areas? Given latest NI Audit Office report – is this value for money? Peter McReynolds MLA Deborah Erskine
“The Department’s track record in the delivery of its active travel objectives is poor and has had little impact on active travel level.” NI Audit Office, Sept. 2025 on Department for Infrastructure’s active travel delivery. niauditoffice.gov.uk/publications/a…
Great spin along the Boyne river in Drogheda, organised by Drogheda Cycling. It was part of the Irish Cycling Campaign x Cycling UK Northern Ireland “Cycling Across Borders: All Ireland Cycle Campaigners Conference” where cycle campaigners from across Ireland met for a chat (and some therapy!)
