Some hazy sunny spells getting through this PM. Temperatures responding in kind with over 22⁰C recorded in Durrow Laois Ireland and short while ago. Not a bad summers afternoon in the light breeze!

Taken north of Mountmellick this evening around 5pm - a very moisture laden sky, though dry at ground level. The sun rays were amazing!

We recorded our first air frost of the season last night. A minimum of -0.3⁰C in the air and -2.5⁰C on the grass. By 8.15am the sun was gaining strength and much of the frost outside the shaded areas had thawed. #winteriscoming
