Pablo Monzón (Universidad de la República) presented at LANET his talk “Smart Grids: (Complex) Power System Networks”, exploring how #networkscience and #complexsystems can enhance the resilience and efficiency of modern #SmartGrids.

Jordi Soriano (Universitat de Barcelona) presented at LANET his research on living neuronal cultures, exploring how #complexnetworks emerge in vitro. His work bridges #neuroscience and #networkscience to uncover the principles of brain-like connectivity.

Florencia Leonardi (U. Saõ Paulo) presented at LANET her work on Consistent community detection and model selection in the Stochastic Block Model. Her research advances #networkscience by improving how we identify meaningful structures in complex systems.

Ronaldo Menezes (University of Exeter) presented at LANET his talk “Violence, City Size and Geographical Isolation in African Cities”. His research uses #complexsystems and #urbananalytics to uncover how spatial and demographic factors shape patterns of violence.

Inmaculada Leyva (URJC) presented at LANET her talk “Lost in averaging: local and global intermittencies in complex networks”. Her work sheds light on how averaging can obscure critical dynamics in #complexsystems and #networkscience.

David Soriano David Soriano Paños (@URVuniversitat) presented LANET his talk “Eco-evolutionary constraints shape the endemicity and epidemic trajectories of rapidly evolving viruses”. His research integrates #ecology & #epidemiology to understand viral dynamics in systems.

Sebastián Gonçalves (@UFRGSnoticias) closed LANET with his talk “Structure, Dynamics, and Prediction in Political Corruption Networks”. His work applies #networkscience & #complexsystems to uncover hidden patterns in political corruption and forecast systemic risks.
