One month left of our Life in The Iron Valley exhibition. Featuring rare prints by Chris Killip and Graham Smith from our collection, this is something quite special. So, if you're a fan of documentary photography come and visit us before Sat 14 Sept.

Some exciting news for Friday. Arts Council England have confirmed our continuing Accredited Museum status. Thank you to ACE and Museum Development North for their support and expertise in helping us achieve Accredited Status again.

Be inspired by our woodland surroundings with our next free (but please make a donation) Woodland Arts and Crafts session this Monday 19th August 10am-1pm. Create stick insects, butterflies, birds, leaf prints and bird feeders!

It's our last rockpooling sesh of the summer tomorrow. Family friendly seashore fun! Tues 20 Aug.10am-12pm. Meet our team at the boat park in Skinningrove. Free but we would love it if you could manage a small donation for the museum.
