XR1 on track. Built from a kit, finished and raced by Rowan in New Zealand. First race meeting completed, bike running well and turning heads in the paddock. Exactly what the XR1 was designed for. #bottpower #bottxr1 #privateer #trackbuilt #buell

41 years ago today we lost Víctor Palomo. Pioneer Spanish racer: only Spaniard to win a 350cc GP, and a F-750 FIM Trophy. Also water ski world champion '69, even Olympic bobsleigh! Gone too soon at 36 due to diabetes complications. RIP 📷: J. Segura

XR1 on full throttle down the straight. Rowan raced the same Buell platform for 16+ years before transforming it into an XR1 this season. Great to see that experience behind the project.

Not every track is a nightmare for brakes. Phillip Island and Assen score just 1/5 on the Brembo scale. With fast, flowing curves and high speeds that naturally cool the discs, these legendary circuits let the braking system catch its breath while the riders stay pinned.

Portimão, Misano, and Cremona sit at Level 3: the perfect middle ground. These tracks demand total consistency. Whether it's the elevation changes in Portugal or the high-intensity heat of Italy, a perfect lever feel is the secret to staying fast until the final lap.

¡Felicidades!

Level 4 is the Danger Zone. At Jerez, riders spend 33% of the lap on the brakes. From the violent stops at Magny-Cours to the stop-and-go layout of the new Balaton Park, these six tracks are where heat becomes the enemy and only the toughest hardware survives.
