Firefighters made a quick knock down of a house fire on 9th Street. No injuries are reported and firefighters were able to locate the family cat unharmed.

This morning firefighters responded to a forklift fire at the new Lake Oswego Middle School site. They were able to quickly extinguish the fully involved forklift. No injuries reported, but damage estimates are $75,000. Cause of the fire is most likely mechanical failure.
