Good luck to the LHS boys/girls track teams as they prepare for the State Track Meet on May 4 (Saturday) in Pearl. Also, congratulations to Watson Williamson, who recently broke the school record in the pole vault with a jump of 13 feet! Watson is rated #1 in 5A in PV!

Congratulations to Lafayette pole vaulter Allie Drewrey on her 3rd place finish at the 5A Track and Field championships.

At one point this season, this group was 5-5 & 0-1 in the region. Tonight, they punched their ticket to the State Championship. We watched this group grow together this spring. They are special & I am glad they took me along for the ride. Job’s not finished. #FLEET
