This #mercuryprize is absolutely shite. Appreciate it’s a BBC cost cutting excercise but what’s even the point if there’s no performances? Like the Turner Prize with no paintings, it’s naff.

#MercuryPrize I am actually so disappointed that we are watching recycled performances tonight. I look forward to this every year as a music enthusiast. I feel sad for the artists that have been robbed of sharing their performances. The atmosphere looks awkward.
