Reading so many articles, seeing so many interviews referring to fighter of the decade Roy Jones Jr. as "Tyson's opponent". Bizzare yet a testimony to how big of a global crossover star Mike was & still is to this day because Roy is one of the best to ever do it. Let's be clear

I'm surprised Teofimo Lopez isn't a bigger star! What's not to like he's a great talker and so far he's backed it all up! He can box he can punch and He's challenging the best P4P fighter in the sport for the undisputed Champion before having had a single title defence!

For the sports a Lopez win would be the best thing. A win and his stock would sky rocket. He's got more potential to be a cross over star based of his age and his out spoken personality than Loma does.

I think with the change of dates it's almost like they killed the momentum and also played into the fact people think the fight won't happen/is in jeopardy. Btw if you've not watched the Triller episodes, they're actually really good. (Not that I'm for this fight) 👊🏽

Maybe so but I think this is the issue with boxing fans. Why do we want a young exciting fighter to lose? What good does that do for the sport. The guys entertaining in/out the ring and ultimately if he wins he's a future star of the sport who can reach a new audience.
