2nd grade Jefferson Labradors explored fables this week!We compared several fables and discovered that, most of the time, they have personified animals as characters, teach us a lesson(or moral), and use exaggeration A LOT! Be sure to ask your 2nd grader what their favorite fable was!
Totally spoiled all week long by the Jefferson Labradors PCC!! After a week of endless snacks, lunches, gift cards, kind notes, chalked walkways... They topped it off with a visit from the ice cream truck! What lucky teachers we are! Thank you to our amazing families, we love you!
2nd grade readers theatre! After learning about fables, we decided to act some out! First up: The Ant and The Grasshopper! What was the moral of this fable? If you ask Jefferson Labradors from J9, J10, or J11, they will happily tell you - and they'll even prove it with text examples!
