Outdoor volcanos today with EYFS for British Science Week We built 5 volcanos and added 1,2,3,4 or 5 teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate to each one - we then added vinegar and timed how long they took to erupt! 🌋
Today we set up a ‘fair test’ in the lab with Year 3 - investigating the question ‘Will adding fruit to our jelly make it take longer to set?’ - watch this space for our results! British Science Week

The clouds didn’t stop our star-gazing evening tonight! The children still learnt lots about space, planets, stars, the moon and sun and learned how a telescope works! Thanks to NNHS Astronomy and friends for a great evening!
We ran a brilliant coding and 3D printing club over half term - these are the wonderful results from the day - children used Tinkercad to design their own key rings and we printed them on our Ultimaker 3D printer! 👌🏻🤩 #Engineering #3Dprinted

Todays #wellywednesday we made our own fabric dyes from red cabbage, beetroot, lemon juice and turmeric! Creating these beautiful African sunset images to tie in with the EYFS topic exploring Africa - Outdoor learning at its best! #OutdoorAdventures
Testing out some more brilliant MyScienceClub resources - making glue! I can not tell you how engaged the children were with this, it was one of those lessons that just ran perfectly!
