Lab Winter Games happen every 3 yrs & include games, like seal crawl & 1-ft high seal kick, unique to northern communities. A toy seal is used in both games which require amazing strength and focus. Met CA’s powerlifting champion Lab athlete Bronson Jocque fr Postville. #congrats

A day to remember in The Big Land. As 1st woman LG in NL delighted to be part of history when the 1st women competition took place in the challenging Labrathon during Lab Winter Games 2019. Previously open to men only event requires perseverance, determination, focus & strength.

Thrilled to represent Rigolet at the #LabradorWinterGames. With a strong finish and encouragement for our own and all other 19 community athletes, Team Rigolet was recognized as the most spirited team! As a key pillar of the games is friendship, this was humbling.

1st Labrador Winter Games experience is over. One of the most rewarding and enjoyable sporting experience I have ever taken part in. I have gained even more respect for traditional sports, lifestyle and culture. Taking home the cup was just icing on the 🎂!
