Working in partnership with Canal & River Trust & @CRTvolunteers we developed work flows that allow bank-side measurements of phosphates and results in just 3 minutes. @plosone journals.plos.org/plosone/articl… 2/4

The mobile app (developed by) Natural Apptitude allows folks to upload results of their measurements, locations, times etc. All of which is then reported back to volunteers via the project webpage riverdip.com/map 3/4

Mila presenting her work on enabling citizens to monitor metals in river water at environmentally relevant levels. Using a simple workflow to first preconcentration then detect metals can be detected in a few minutes #SDG #UoHSDGconference

Up next Samira talking about our work developing simple analytical work flows to detect nutrients on site to enable farmers to measure their own soil chemistry. #SDG #UoHSDG conference

We develop sensors for on-site analysis of water quality, recently for carbonates - by transferring the traditional titration onto a paper analytical device. Great work by Iris and #CarlTryggersStiftelse funded Pablo GG bit.ly/3Z4JmAJ

Mark D. Tarn and I have been visiting the new microfabrication facilities at Stockholm University. Thanks to Alex and Nicole Pamme for showing us around. Really interesting to see the tradition of nailing PhD theses to a tree as well!
