The RG Marschall arrived SP8 - 2023 in Strasbourg, France ! We are presenting our results as posters and talks! So, if you are interested in new co-catalyst design, photoelectrochemistry on oxides and new insights in titania/titanates, get in touch with us. We are looking for great discussions!
During yesterday’s poster session at the symposium #N2X nanoGeConferences Julian had the chance to present his results on photocatalytic stability of carbon nitride/pyrite composites. It was a really nice atmosphere and thanks to all for the fruitful discussions. #MATSUS2023
We are very proud of you, Lion! Two awards (best Master graduate of your class Universität Bayreuth and 1st place of the 2023 Sustainability Awards of the Universität Bayreuth), and now the PhD fellowship (Kekulé fellowship of FCI VCI). That’s incredible!
Today something personal: Dear Birgit Birgit Weber , thank you very much for 5 great years working together Universität Bayreuth. You always had an open ear for me, we generated so many ideas together, and I will miss our lunch breaks.
Join us at the #MATSUS conference in Spain four the #N2X symposium that Victor Mougel, Marschall☼Lab and I are organising. We have put together and excellent lineup of speakers!

Very good news! Our results about high-entropy oxides and electrocatalysis were published in Adv. Funct. Mater. (doi.org/10.1002/adfm.2…). Many thanks to our collaborators @MPIEisen . There is also a press release of Universität Bayreuth regarding our paper here: uni-bayreuth.de/en/press-relea…
Dear Roland Marschall☼Lab thank you so much. I hope we can keep some lunch times. If not in person Universität Bayreuth or Universität Jena then online.
Why nanostructuring solar energy conversion? Was a question by Prof. Roland Marschall (Uni Bayreuth) Marschall☼Lab who took us on a trip into the world of nanostructured materials. Many thanks for being with us and sharing great science.
Calling all N2 fixation researchers! With such a star studded symposium there is no better place to disseminate your results Alexander Bagger Ib Chorkendorff DTU Nikolay Kornienko Université de Montréal Alexandr Simonov Sven Schneider 🇺🇦 Dr. Nella Vargas-Barbosa Marschall☼Lab Victor Mougel
Roland will have a busy week with 4 presentations at the MRS Spring meeting Materials Research Society (MRS) #S24MRS . He will talk about CuFe2O4 for electrochemical CO2 reduction on April 23 at 1:45 pm, just an hour later at 2:45 pm he talks about earth-abundant co-catalysts for photocatalysis.
