Places to check out this spring; the Silbe Nature Reserve

Located in the Quanteraine Valley this reserve has a rich diversity of habitat, including a stream running through to a mill-pond, deciduous woodland, wet meadow, scrub and rough semi-improved grassland.

Our next Botany Walk is tomorrow. It will be through part of the Saumarez Park Nature trail, heading along the footpath, through some of the woodland and returning along Ruette de la Tour.

It is muddy, so if you are coming you'll need appropriate footwear.

We were invited along to Acorn House to see what Year 1 have been up to for the Big Garden Bird Watch.

The children knew lots of fascinating facts about robins, blue tits, blackbirds and magpies, and we were so impressed with the posters they’d made!
