**COMMUNITY INFORMATION** Brea PD relayed a report of individuals with guns in the area of Sonora High School. In response, Sonora High School was placed on a Level 2 Lock Down. After an investigation, it was determined that that the threat was unfounded.

REMINDER: The La Habra Races are tomorrow, Saturday, March 12. Vehicles parked along the race route in violation of the posted no parking signs WILL BE TOWED. Check the signs before you park tonight. Towing will begin promptly at 2:00am on Saturday morning!

STREET CLOSURES FOR SCHOOL GRADUATIONS Idaho closed from Highlander to Whittier Wednesday, June 1, 3 p.m.-9:30 p..m Thursday, June 2, 3 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Residents with proof of residency will be able to access their houses on Henderson and Idaho.

***Traffic Collision Road Closure*** This morning at approximately 1:45am there was a single vehicle traffic collision into a traffic signal at Beach and Whittier. Two occupants were transported with unknown injuries. Whittier westbound from Hacienda to Beach will be closed.

On Friday, July 7th 2023, at approximately 8:35 p.m. 911 calls were received reporting a shooting in the area of 1340 S. Beach Blvd.  When officers arrived on the scene, they found one male juvenile and one male adult with gunshot wounds. See press release for full details.
