#3BodyProblem #Netflix 4/5. #LiamCunningham & #BenedictWong were the most entertaining cast members. Generally, the effects were good, but there were some parts that needed more time and work. The story was quite well placed. Even without a battle with aleins, it ended well.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office (06May24) #TheFallGuyMovie did quite well across the 3 day weekend to reach No.1. I think #StarWars Epsiode I #ThePhantomMenace did as well as it did because of the 25th Anniversary celebrations. Shame #LoveLiesBleeding did find a bigger crowd.

#StarWars #TalesOfTheEmpire #DisneyPlus 3/5. The second arc was stronger for me. Very good art direction. There was one shot of the #StarDestroyers in space that was cinematic quality. Although I do feel more episodes dedicated to a characters arc, it would have made more impact.

#TheFallGuyMovie 3/5. This wasn't awful, but for the moment, it was just serviceable, which won't last long in the memory. For a film about stunt men and directed by a former stunt man I would have thought there would have been more spectacular set pieces. Jokes didn't land hard.

#Knuckles #ParamountPlus 3/5. This show carries 1990's vibes, which was the similar way i felt about the 1st #SonicTheHedgehogMovie . Some of the jokes are good. The CGI quality hasn't dipped here because it's a TV show. While this is entertaining, it's probably one for the fans.

#StarWars #TheBadBatch Season 3 #DisneyPlus 3/5. For a show like this it was a bold choice to have some episodes set solely in the facility. Enjoyed Crosshairs' redemption. The finale was thrilling. I could have done with some actual details on the Necromancer project.

UK+Ireland Cinema Box Office #Top15 (29Apr24). Quite an interesting week, nice to see #SpyXFamilyCODEWhite crack the Top 10 at No.8. #KungFuPanda4 is staying strong at No.3 while #GodzillaXKongTheNewEmpire has gone down to No.5. #ChallengersMovie , the new hotness got to No.1.

#ThisTown #BBC 4/5. This quickly developed into a show that goes beyond teens in 1980's Birmingham and Coventry forming a band, as it deals with IRA, gangsters, etc. But #StevenKnight handles the plot points well with this script writing.
#MichelleDockery has a beautiful voice.

#SpyXFamilyCODEWhite 3/5. Nice big screen outing for the Forger family & the introductions to each character did a good job to explain things to new audiences. The plot is familiar to what the show does but has a big action packed finale. Good jokes. This is definitely for fans.

#Shōgun #FX / #Hulu 4/5. So much care and attention had been put on the screen for this great sophisticated Kamakura period drama. This Western production is to be applauded for its large use of Japanese language and is probably one of the best pieces that #HiroyukiSanada has done.

UK+Ireland Cinema Box Office #Top15 22 Apr 24-Top 4 remain unchanged with the new highest entry being #AbigailMovie but didn't have a huge impact with it earning just under £600K, which not surprised as it's an 18 certificate and I didn't see a huge about of advertisement for it.

#HitManNetflix Offical Trailer. Looks like a great addition to the hitman genre. It's great to see #GlenPowell in a film like this, which he co-wrote to help him show off his acting capabilities with the different type of hitmen personas.

Transformers One Offical Trailer - Quite cookie cutter, paint by numbers, let's make something aimed at the young kids. This adaption of Transformers will simply not be for me. Shame as the actors looked like interesting choices but this seems stupid.

Of course they hire #KeanuReeves best known for starring in action packed gun tooting action films #TheMatrix and #JohnWick as #ShadowTheHedgehog who's spin off game involved him using guns!
I don't hate the idea and Reeves is no stranger to voice acting like #ToyStory4 .

UK+Ireland Cinema Box Office #Top15 (15Apr24) - Really underestimated the love for Amy Winehouse as I didn't think Back To Black would reach the No.1. Glad to see #CivilWarMovie get to No.2 with earnings of £1.8 Million as it's not quite necessary something that draws people in.

#SpyxFamily Season 1 by #WitStudio & #CloverWorks 4/5. Really enjoyed the world that was taking inspiration from Europe in the Cold War. The comedy brings added charm and the action is fun. Anya is really delightful and cute. I quite liked Yor but I do wish we explored her more.

#TheBoys Diabolical (2022) #PrimeVideo 4/5. Quite a good anthology series exploring and expanding the world of #TheBoys . Some episodes were better than others, but the varied animation studios' work kept things interesting. Hopefully more like this will be produced one day.

#TheBear Season 2 (2023) #FX / #Hulu 3/5. The Christmas episode has to be one of the most stressful moments of TV. #AyoEdebiri in the 1st half of the season with the screen time proved to be the show's charm. Great special guests. But I do feel like certain details lacked coverage.

#CivilWarMovie 4/5. Careful not to take political position, the film does show the dangers of how a modern developed country can tear itself apart if it doesn't heal its divisions. Also, the important work of journalists take to bring the truth. #KirstenDunst was really strong.
