48 Red-throated Diver, Black-throated Diver, 5 Eider, 500+ Common Scoter and a drake Velvet Scoter on the sea this morning (20/1/25) Lincsbirding LWT Wild News


At least 23 Cranes roosted at Willow Tree Fen this evening. Also 24+ Marsh Harrier, 2 Barn Owl, 60+ Shoveler, Shelduck and 3 Pintail. Whooper Swan numbers continue to amaze with 200 counted in to roost but plenty more still coming in after dark. BirdGuides Lincsbirding

The Long Eared Owls at Deeping Lakes played ball this morning with 2 visible from the hide & 1 in the gulley. Couldn’t locate Little Owl or Ibis but an Otter on the Welland was ample compensation. Then to Willow Tree Fen with at least 3 Crane present Lincsbirding LWT Wild News
