Still on a dark skies tip: I found this cool link to the National Schools Observatory. As I understand it, schools can register and submit requests for images directly to the observatory...science is awesome! It's also available in Welsh so... schoolsobservatory.org

Last Wednesday the volunteers helped tidy up and fix some rails at the forest school and then we went and planted some Sessile Oak in the clearfell area 😊🌳🌳☺️

Our usual Wednesday last week was successful, we put wooden backing and stakes on a loads of our safety signs. A big thank you to our fantastic volunteers 😊👍😊

We had a great Tree Planting Day and Saturday Surgery last Saturday and got another 300 trees in. Thank you to all who turned up and helped to plant them 😊👍🌳👍😊

I'm sure everyone has noticed that there's a whole host of butterflies and moths out this week. I've seen countless orange tips over the weekend (unless its the same one, just playing tricks on me!) and woodland browns as well.... butterfly-conservation.org/butterflies
