The only thing I gathered from this is that Tim Sherwood really hasn’t gotten over missing out on the WBA job to Tony Pulis

Interesting Gary, because if we’re not directing our Ire at Bloomfield there’s only one place left that it should end up…

Here’s hoping this can kickstart a pattern of transparent dialogue between club and fans as we head into an exciting new era on the pitch.

It was all downhill after this. I’m fully behind Jack and his staff but he’ll need to quickly figure out a core group of players he can trust to execute basic instructions until January and dispense with the far too many who just don’t have what it takes to be Luton players.

Generally really enjoy the LTST podcast but the fans shouldn’t shoulder blame. One of the reasons we’ve settled into a losing mentality is because losing became too comfortable in the PL. The players NEED to be uncomfortable with underperforming and losing to want to change it.

This becomes more evident with each passing week. We simply haven’t achieved anything without NJ or a squad and style built by NJ. Recruitment is poor now because the critical cog in that machine is at Charlton. Maybe his ego was justified…

A win! And more importantly a performance. There have been many false dawns in the past 18 months, so I can’t allow myself to get carried away, but my god is it nice to be in a good mood on a weekend 🙌

Can we take a moment to talk about Nakhi Wells. Awful last weekend and his substitution was cheered. Showed a lot of character to come back and perform well (despite some misses) today. We don’t ask for perfection but we do demand character, and he showed that.

Mengi is confusing to me. At times looks off the pace and disinterested, at others fist pumps and battles like it really means something. Is it possible he was playing above himself in the PL and is still just finding his feet as a younger player?

Rob Edwards has really gone down in my estimation after this saga. Boro gave him a chance, allowed him to fall upward and backed him after he oversaw our utterly shambolic effort last season. Portrays this ‘good guy’ image but the sheen is wearing off…

What does Liam Walsh need to do to get substituted? Fully expect him to get sent off and in all honesty it might benefit us #LTFC

Jack Wilshere’s Luton Town look suspiciously like Matt Bloomfield’s Luton Town and Rob Edwards’ Luton Town. WTF is going on at this club. It’s utterly inexplicable. Guardiola wouldn’t get a tune out of this bunch of cowards.

The match after a shambolic performance is often more telling than the shambolic performance itself. The reaction Wilshere gets from the team tonight will tell us whether he’ll succeed where his predecessors failed. The ‘Mr. Nice Guy’ approach is not the answer.

The first home game in more than 15 years I’ve seriously considered not going to when I’ve been able to, such is my disillusionment with the current state of affairs. But maybe tonight’s when it all changes. Ok, one more game then…
