Great to see pupils enjoying Living Streets' #WOW #WalkToSchool challenge ✨

We call on Welsh Government and Ken Skates MS to ensure that we keep our streets and communities safe

The policy is already working, with average speeds of 26mph and only a 45s increase in journey times

This small change will and is making a big difference

Wales has led the way taking steps to reduce not only road injuries and deaths, but also air pollution. This policy didn’t come from nowhere, it followed international evidence and at one point had 4 party support. No other nation has rolled back 30mph, we mustn’t be the first

“Living Streets Cymru is hugely disappointed that the Welsh Government has indicated there will be changes to the 20mph default speed limit, which could mean a backwards step for safer streets in Wales.'
