Courtwarming Spirit Days!

This week's Teacher of Week is Mrs. Carney.  She is nice and she helps kids understand the depth of ELA. She adjusts her teaching to different learning types and she makes it easy and fun for kids to work. She is also a teacher you can go to for advice. Thanks for all you do!

Yesterday we crowned our king, Aaron Harrel, at the assembly and our queen, Julia Spencer, at halftime! Congrats to all students on court👑 Join us tonight for our first informal Courtwarming dance from 8:00-10:30!

This week's Titan Teacher of the Week is Mr. Fox. He teaches and explains content really well while still making it fun. He always relates topics back to a modern situation to help us better understand. Thanks Mr. Fox and congratulations!

This week's Titan Teacher of the Week is Ms. Ellickson. She makes learning fun and makes all of her students feel welcomed. She is also a great coach who motivates her swimmers to be the best they can be. West is lucky to have you, Ms. Ellickson! Congrats!

This week's Titan Teacher of the Week is Jay Meyer. Coach Meyer has spent this year helping his students learn in the best ways possible and sharing all his life lessons. He does his teacher duties while managing and coaching the LSW baseball program. Thank you Coach Meyer!

This week's Titan Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Howard. She is always supportive of students by helping them with DECA projects and coursework. She plans interactive lessons to make learning more fun for her students. Thank you for all you do Mrs. Howard!

This week's Titan Teacher of the Week is Mr. Franz. He makes sure learning Physics is fun while still working hard. He will explain anything we have questions about and make sure we understand. He cares about each student he has! We appreciate you, Mr. Franz!

This week’s Teacher of the Week is Mr. Nicholas. He is very enthusiastic about geometry and is always willing to give students extra help. He makes learning fun and you can always count on him to have a smile on his face. Thank you for all you do Mr. Nicholas!

Last week’s teacher of the week is Mrs. Jeffries! Her bubbly personality lights up everyone's day and she is always there to help her students. This week's teacher of the week is Mrs. Palmer. She is dedicated to her students and works hard to help students learn. Thank you both!

Peyton is running for Community Service Liaison. Peyton hopes to get our Titans “excited about helping out and working with the community.”

Anna says “I believe a good way to improve school turnout at events would be through social media and more efficient promotion. I want to be the secretary because I believe that I could create a lot of opportunities with good communication and promotion.”

Here are our vice president candidates! Sekemi says “as vice president I would like to make everyone feel safe, welcome, and proud to be a LSW Titan.” Lacey wants you to know that she “believes that she can successfully advocate for her peers to make this school a better place.”

Here are the candidates for secretary! Ellie says she wants this position because she wants to “plan more fun events and get students active with our social media” and she “looks forward to being a listener and leading with school pride.”
