Even though it’s been a busy couple of days, both Life Saving Victoria Westpac Helicopters are back in the air. . #Lifesaver31 is in the far west of the state and sent this photo of Cape Otway. They’ve been to a tasking already today.

With the hot weather today and over NY I spent the morning out speaking with Victorian Westpac Helicopters crews on the flight line, #Lifesaver30 and #Lifesaver31 have both been out on patrol this morning. The crews will fly extra patrols in the next few days! @EMV_news Life Saving Victoria
#LIFESAVER30 was dispatched to Williamstown to assist in the search for an overdue diver. Working with Williamstown S&LSC, Port Phillip RWCs and Victoria Police. The diver was located safe and well.
With today heading for 35+ degrees, both #Lifesaver30 and #Lifesaver31 will be flying extra patrols from their bases in Melbourne and the Bellarine Peninsula . Life Saving Victoria lifeguards will provide the safest places to swim!
Yesterday #Lifesaver30 detected a “PAN” call being made by a sailing vessel that had run aground on the Bellarine Peninsula. The crew located the yacht, and checked on the occupants welfare before arranging Aus Vol Coast Guard to assist.
This afternoon #Lifesaver30 and Life Saving Victoria RWCs, with IRBs from clubs across Port Phillip Bay and Victoria Police responded to a number of vessels that were caught in a weather change. Always check conditions before you head out!
#RESCUE: #Lifesaver30 has had a busy Christmas Day. Tasked to rescue 3 kayakers in Westernport Bay, who luckily were wearing lifejackets. They were winched to safety. After returning, quickly tasked by Victoria Police to a search off Portarlington who were located after a search.
