Great to see our live Barbican Centre concert performance of Janáček’s ‘Katya Kabanova’ featured amongst Gramophone’s Critics’ Choice 2024 🎶

[NEW] To celebrate Sir Simon Rattle's birthday today, watch the conductor lead the London Symphony Orchestra on Beethoven's "Christus am Ölberge", a dramatic oratorio composed in 1803 that brings great intensity and emotion to the story of Jesus's last moments! bit.ly/4jjRlVU

Mondays don’t get much better than this! 🎉🏆 We’re beyond thrilled to have won a #Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media alongside #BradleyCooper, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and the London Symphony Chorus . What an honour to be part of this incredible team! 🎶✨

Very excited for our upcoming concerts of Vaughan Williams’s Sea Symphony. Book your tickets to see us this Sunday the 9th and Wednesday the 12th of Feb: barbican.org.uk/whats-on/2025/… antoniopappanoconductor London Symphony Orchestra Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha Barbican Centre Will Liverman Rebecca Gilliver

Swept away by the London Symphony Chorus and London Symphony Orchestra’s passionate, vivid and overwhelming performance of Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony under Pappano, capped by sensational singing from Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha and Will Liverman. I can’t imagine the solo parts being better sung today.

Walt Whitman and Vaughan Williams - visionaries both. ‘Behold, the Sea!’ and there it is in great washes of choral and orchestral sound. Fabulous work from London Symphony Chorus and London Symphony Orchestra under an impassioned Antonio Pappano. Soprano Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha was, in every sense, majestic.

Two thrilling performances of Vaughan Williams’ “A Sea Symphony” alongside London Symphony Orchestra, Antonio Pappano, Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha and Will Liverman 🌊 No rest for the wicked… tonight, we continue rehearsals for our upcoming Tippett and Beethoven concert in March! 📸 Mark Allan
