A fantastic discussion from Luke Pearce looking at the past and future of grammar curriculum - including some reference to Michael Gove's reforms. #LitdriveCPD25 Litdrive UK

Thank you Litdrive UK for a fabulous conference and particularly to Chloe McCrea, Luke Pearce, Jennifer Webb, Elaine, Chris Curtis and Marcello Giovanelli for giving my head far too many exciting ideas to take back to my team at EnglishErdingtonAcad. #LitdriveCPD25

Thanks Litdrive UK for a great #LitdriveCPD25 The speakers gave so much insight that informed my talk on grammar in the schools. Secondary teachers are keen to use metalanguage to teach at sentence-level, but rarely supported to build on the grammar brought from primary.

Coming later this week, NATE guest blogger Luke Pearce argues for a shift towards teaching grammar in context, where language knowledge fuels creativity and meaning, not just test prep. #NATE
