Supporting Bitcoin over Lightning Network is slowly being included in the definition of "supporting Bitcoin."

1/7 I just posted my initial feedback on Taro to the bitcoin-dev mailing list. I'll summarize it in this thread. Taro closely resembles RGB, a protocol I studied extensively, so I'm more familiar with the limitations of both designs than most, and was able to point them out.

There still needs to be a force that helps people see Bitcoin and Lightning Network as tools, not investment vehicles. People that focus on building, learning, and wanting to share that with everyone.

What do you think is missing from Lightning Network education? Are podcasts the best way to learn something or do you prefer something else? Video essays or...?

Over the top hyperbolic statements are terrible ways to market Bitcoin/Lightning. Being upfront about limitations and tradeoffs is important to people taking these systems seriously.
