This past week was rough. As the excitement for the end of the school year and the anticipation of all the associated celebrations grew, one of our students took their own life.

Please check on your people. It's okay not to be okay. But it's not okay to be alone in that space.

I tell our future school counselors that this profession is all about planting seeds.

And be ok with maybe never seeing the fruit.
