I’m still baffled how third-party business deals can bind athletes to a school that 💯 is not relying on those NIL collectives to pay for a workforce that absolutely is not school employees, yet the school can then cut scholarships because of a third-party contract disagreement.

To borrow from a certain HOF basketball coach, you can’t be half-pregnant. Want their labor? Then schools/athletic departments should be responsible to give them the contracts for the business model they’ve created. Not a third-party that gets no tangible benefit beyond hubris.
