"Ford government walks back controversial plan to allow tenant evictions when leases expire." "The announcement Sunday afternoon comes after a wave of outcry from renters and housing experts." Thank goodness. thestar.com/real-estate/fo…

We’ve seen this script before with Doug Ford: 1. The money will support a favoured few instead of the most deserving, as seen with the SDF. 2. There will be many small announcements with big novelty cheques. 3. Most of the 💰 won’t be spent. globalnews.ca/video/11484125… #onpoli

Everything this government does is undermining our democracy — they've just never been this outrageously bald-faced about their utter disdain for the democratic process and all of Ontario. This can't stand. It is an affront to every Ontarian.

Today’s HungerCount 2025 report shows food bank visits in Ontario have hit record highs — more than 763,000 visits and over 1 million meals and snacks served in the past year. Since 2019, visits are up nearly 125%. Shockingly, 30% of those relying on food banks are children.

NEW: A company formed as a partnership between developers, including some involved in the Greenbelt scandal, recently received just under $1.6 million from the Ford government’s Skills Development Fund. thetrillium.ca/news/politics/…

$1.3 billion in a political slush fund, but deficits at North Bay Regional Health Centre of $5.6 million or $600,000 at Campbellford Hospital are unaffordable for the Ford government? Unbelievable. Unacceptable. thetrillium.ca/news/politics/…

Ford's gravy train is a circular economy. Donate to the Conservatives, receive taxpayer money. ▶️FGF brands Donated $34k Received $1.25 million Tax Dollars ROI 3,806% ▶️Ontario shipyards Donated $18k Received $26 million Tax Dollars ROI 75,000% #ONpoli #GravyTrain

Latest on Doug Ford’s Skills Development Slush Fund FGF Brands and Ontario Shipyards both got millions in “training” grants—then executives sent a surge of donations to Ford’s PCs. That’s not job creation. That’s a circular economy of corruption. #ONpoli

#ONpoli Another Ontario PC Party max donor that used Doug Ford's campaign manager's firm Rubicon to lobby for Skills Development Funds: "Dental Training Canada" is run by a company called DDSMasters, and the director donated a max amount to the Ontario PC Party.

800,000 people are out of work. Ford is a jobs disaster. Now, with Bill 60, he wants to raise rents and make it easier for people to lose their homes. Marit Stiles & the Ontario NDP are fighting to defend renters & Stop Bill 60. Visit StopBill60.ca to take action now.

After a scandalous filled week revealing how Ford’s friends, donors, campaign manager & Piccini’s relatives lobbied for Skills Dev $, here’s a reminder what Doug said in 2019. He “got into politics to help people & families PROSPER.” You sure did, Doug. ⤵️

Government programs that dole out millions of #Ontario taxpayer dollars should have strategic goals, provide tracked, mapped, and detailed progress reports and outcomes, and accountability and transparency to the public should be readily available. #Onpoli

The FAO says the Ford government’s austerity spending plan means that by 2027 Ontario will have 2,457 fewer hospital beds, 7,263 fewer nurses & 1,684 fewer PSW’s. LTC beds will fall from 60 to 56 per 1,000 of the population over 75 years. Let's push back!

Even if you ignore everything else, the fact that his own wife lobbied his Ministry and he awarded her clients funding instead of recusing himself is such a clear ethical violation that it would have led to immediate termination in any job or government with any moral standards.

As more comes out about the PC Party’s big donors quid-pro-quo scheme, the Ontario PCs look to change election laws to the benefit of the wealthy. They reward their friends contracts and funds that we foot the bill for, and now they want more money in elections.

For those of you who don't know...the SDF is worth 2.5B and the Auditor General found that the application process was not fair, accountable or transparent. Low scoring applications, with connections to the Premier & Minister were awarded millions of your money. #onpoli
