Monday is an exciting day as we welcome our new students to virtual learning and we cheer our face to face schools on with resuming what we always do best-teach and care for kids. When you subtract everything else, caring for kids is what we ALL do.

The Lambton Kent DSB is aware of the recent announcement by the Ministry of Education to postpone March Break to the week of April 12th. Families, please expect further communication from us addressing impacts to the school year calendar in the coming days. Lambton Kent DSB

Feel Good Friday. Do something today in a random act of kindness for someone that wouldn’t expect it. It might even be for yourself! Self care also has to be at the top of the list as February isn’t always the easiest month to endure.

All Lambton Kent District School Board schools and facilities will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 for the Family Day holiday. The LKDSB wishes all staff, students and families a safe and relaxing holiday.

Today for #PinkShirtDay we read “The Invisible Boy” and crunched our hearts when someone was being unkind & flattened them when someone was showing kindness in the book. We learned that it’s hard to fix a wrinkled heart & our words and actions have a lasting impact on others. 💗
