****COMMUNITY SAFETY ALERT**** . . . Town of Los Gatos

Around 10am this morning, Officers responded to the area of Highway 9 and Austin Way to contact a male subject in an orange jacket in the roadway. Officers used their crisis intervention techniques and compassion to build rapport. He was safely taken to the resources he needed.

‼️Please avoid Hicks Rd between Shannon Rd and Burke Rd‼️ PG&E and the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department is asking everyone to avoid Hicks Rd due to a traffic incident. There is no estimated ETA for reopening at this time.

❗️UPDATE❗️The roadway at Hicks Rd between Shannon and Burke has been cleared of all obstructions. Normal traffic can resume.

LGMSPD is aware of the large black smoke in the area. SJFD confirmed a large structure fire at Home Depot (920 Blossom Hill) in San Jose. Please avoid the area.

**TRAFFIC ADVISORY** Los Gatos Blvd. between Hwy 9 and Loma Alta Ave. is temporarily CLOSED to vehicle traffic in both directions due to a downed tree. Please use alternate routes until the debris is cleaned up.
