It was great to sit down with Congresswoman Rep. Celeste Maloy today to discuss the needs across our state. It’s important to have dedicated representatives on both the state and federal levels. Her efforts are putting Utah first.

On Primary Election Day, I was visited by Hope Rice, the 14-year-old great-great-great-granddaughter of Seraph Young, and her family, visiting from Maryland. Seraph was the first woman in the United States to vote under an equal suffrage law on Feb. 14, 1870, right here in Utah.

Gabe and I are devastated to hear of the fallen officers in the attack in Tremonton last night. These officers are heroes. We join the entire state in prayer for strength directed to the families and loved ones involved.
