Today, I sent a letter to my colleagues calling for changes to the Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs and new investments in DC's LGBTQ+ community. With more LGBTQ+ residents per capita than any other jurisdiction, we must address disparities and increase transparency.

Today I'm chairing a #HousingCommittee budget oversight hearing on DC Department of Human Services DC Interagency Council on Homelessness. With the mayor's deep proposed cuts, this hearing is crucial to identifying programs making a difference for residents and rooting out inefficiencies to ensure taxpayer $ aren't wasted.
