Today we said farewell to FF Des Murphy, who has retired after serving his entire 25 year career in Kensington & Chelsea. Des is a fantastic firefighter and will be sorely missed by all of us. We wish him every happiness in the future!

Crews from LFB Kensington & Chelsea recently held a multi-agency exercise at the Royal Hospital Chelsea which included a mass evacuation, search and rescue, and a salvage plan for heritage items. It's important our crews prepare on how to protect historic London in a possible emergency.

Today Chelsea Greens had the pleasure of hosting some of the Chelsea Pensioners from Royal Hospital Chelsea for a cup of tea and chat. We shared stories, showed them around the fire appliances and give them a demonstration on various pieces of operation equipment. Thank you for visiting!
