1) Concerned about this article written in the Guardian and to correct any mis-information out there-i had personally no involvement writing this: theguardian.com/society/2020/a…

2) The writer involved emailed me asking me some questions on 'ethnic dermatology'/'skin of color'-they stated they were a GP writing an article on this issue-but did not state they worked also as a journalist

3) As i had no time to answer their queries i suggested they could talk to my colleague Dr Antoine Petit-i see Dr Petit's insights were not included in the article. I did not respond to anymore of the writer's emails.

4) I will hopefully try to write down a formal response highlighting my concerns about this article

5) For the record, the criticism of the Ethnic Dermatology piece published on DermNet New Zealand in the Guardian article is unfounded. This piece was written by Dr Dushiyanthi Rasanathan with my blessing and input: dermnetnz.org/topics/ethnic-…
