Climate change and environmental destruction are inflationary and add to the cost of living. No climate and environment policy = no real economic policy

Big sunny Germany (NSW alone is twice as big, and even Tasmania is closer to the equator ) outperforming Australia on renewable power.

Scott Morrison said big batteries were as useful as a Big Banana. California's big batteries which soak up surplus daytime solar power are now the majority energy supplier in the evening peak. Great to see announcement in WA today heading for same result.

Big big news out of W.A., where another big contract to flatten the duck and fill gap from closing fired power stations will result in the biggest battery project to date in Australia. reneweconomy.com.au/neoens-collie-…

Nats oppose farmers having drought free income from positive impact solar and low impact wind and transmission. They prefer fracking + coal actually destroying farmland and water, and hey how good is 25000 years of radioactive waste storage

Wait what there are practical measures to separate humans and sharks which (1) actually work as a matter of reality not illusory reassurance and (2) don’t kill dolphins and turtles ? Someone tell NSW Labor Queensland Labor

Wouldnt it be great if here in Australia we had modern standards for restricting coal power station pollutants (like mercury, sulphur and particulates) like China. Instead we have weak standards here which put communities' health at risk

Um, no. Nuclear in Australia is, and is intended as, a recipe for delaying not delivering a clean energy future.

This week Inner West LEAN hosted Ken Henry & Lyndon Schneiders from Aus Climate & Biodiversity Foundation to talk about the economics of protecting not logging our native forests.

In 2024 turning high value forests into wood chips & pallets just doesn’t make sense.

Given that Dutton's colleagues now acknowledge that 'nuclear power for Australia' is a ploy to delay urgent emissions cuts, not a means for achieving them, this post is pathetic if sincere, and contemptible if not
