We had an incredible visit yesterday from Christine Counsell and Steve Mastin from OpeningWorldsUK. Live lessons from @BeaconCEPrimary in Y3 and Y5, followed by an inspiring session on the rigour and thoroughness in the Humanities curriculum and a brilliant session on storytelling.

I was in history heaven yesterday, teaching about Aethelflaed Lady of the Mercians to these history-hungry Y5s who had been taught #OpeningWorlds superbly by teachers at Beacon CE Primary. Their broad, rich vocabulary is now terrific! A great joy to work with Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust
