More I am noticing how small moments become everything They are where everything happens One moment then another then another They are where our choices take place where our power gets tapped into It’s so easy to strive for the big moments - the flashy the moments we think define

As the clocks change things can be different…. Its not about growing and finally having it all together, or never having a hard time again. Growth is about finding the compassion for all parts of us. Things can be unfamiliar and unsettling.

A reminder that empathy and understanding dont always require you to appease, change or show up differently. Can we trust others to be with their discomfort instead of bypassing our own needs in order to remove discomfort that isnt ours to begin with? Be yourself.

Self-growth is the best gift we can give to our family, our friends, our company, our work colleagues, and the world. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Working on yourself has a ripple effect on your environment. yourself.

Having a response to hard things is way more grounded and human than feeling like you’re supposed to remain in a continuous state of bliss, or only experience one aspect of being a person If things feel hard perhaps it‘s because they are! Being present to life includes the harder

When you know that you have your own back, when you know if you have a argument with your spouse, or things are not going well or you feel like your failing and you are kind to yourself it can give you the ability to take risks to move forward and be curious. Safe exploration.

When we view everything as a practice, we're reminded that we can begin again at anytime. There is no: "I'm not the kind of person who does that" "I can't" "I need to become a new person before” "I haven't figured it out yet" There is just a decision to practice again And again

May we keep remembering that each of us holds an entire entity of complexity. We are even more! than we will ever know. A unique being that cannot be simplified.

Lets make sure we don’t eliminate what’s possible and what else could be true just because something is normal and valid, just because something has been one way for a long time, It’s about inviting, allowing what *else* is true, possible and available to us.

Whether it’s a job interview, a meeting, a date, something new, something old you’ve always doubted yourself at or just something you want really badly to go well, we’ve all worked ourselves into a lather as our imagination made our particular dragon bigger and scarier

A reminder at this time of year, that empathy and understanding dont always require you to appease, change or show up differently. Can we trust others to be with their discomfort - instead of bypassing our own needs in order to remove discomfort that isn’t ours to begin with.
