#LAFDCentral members recently participated in Gas Emergency Safety and Education training. Many thanks to our partners at #SoCalGas for delivering this outstanding training to our firefighters. This training aligns with the LAFD's commitment to ensure that Everyone Goes Home.

#lafdcentral firefighters from Task Force 10 during a recent training day. These all-risk responders stay prepared for all incident types, from truck company operations at center-hallway structure fires to helicopter filling operations at brush fires.

#LAFDcentral firefighters from Task Force 29 recently participated in a children's book reading event at the Pio Pico-Koreatown Library. The children enjoyed a book about firefighting ducks, a demonstration of firefighters' protective equipment, and a tour of the fire truck.

In partnership with MySafe:LA, LAFD Central firefighters from Engine 13 in Koreatown recently visited the Ketchum YMCA summer camp. These happy campers learned about fire safety and firefighters' tools and protective equipment, and even got to tour the fire engine.

@lafdcentral stations 1 and 12 had the privilege of hosting Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez for a station visit and tour. Our firefighters and OCB Commander enjoyed the opportunity to meet with Eunisses Hernandez and demonstrate their pride in serving CD1 from some of the oldest stations in LA.

LAFD Central Deputy Chief Fligiel joined Fire Commissioner Dr. Jimmy Hara, Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez, and many others in celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year at the 124th Annual Golden Dragon Parade in DTLA. #lafdcentral
