When #ClaudeMonet , born #onthisday in 1840, met fellow artist #EugeneBoudin , everything changed. Boudin taught Monet 'en plein air' (outdoor) techniques and took Monet on painting excursions. Monet thought of Boudin as his master, whom 'he owed everything to' for his success.
