Congrats to Dartmouth 🌲 historian Matt Delmont, who is featured in a newly released short documentary @retroreport about the civil rights initiative during World War II known as the Double V campaign. The video will be shown in high school classrooms across the country!

I don't think folks outside of Indian country can really appreciate what Lily Gladstone's nomination for Best Actress in the Oscars means to us.

This year, Retro Report welcomed 350 educators from 44 states, the District of Columbia and beyond as teacher advisors.

I'm not going to pretend to be objective, but I truly believe Lily Gladstone is going to be a star whether she wins the Oscar or not. She's handled herself so well in the last few months and she's been recognized for her acting and her advocacy for the art, the artists and us.

This is why I love what we do at Retro Report. We help secondary teachers incorporate professional journalism works into their curriculum, use it as tools for teaching history, critical thinking and media literacy skills. Otherwise how will kids know what is/ isn’t journalism?
