🎖️It was a pleasure to open Gedling Borough Council’s Arnold Summer Fair at Arnot Hill Park alongside the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Anita Davies Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy , Youth Mayor Lydia Yates, Michael Payne MP & Cabinet Member for events Cllr Lynda Pearson. A great day celebrating our communities.🎡

It was great to visit The Woodlark Inn Summer Beer Festival in Lambley and meet so many lovely residents. Well done to landlady Emma for putting on such a fab event for the community. Cheers! 🍻

I was pleased to be joined by Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy, community leaders, service members, Michael Payne MP and residents.

My consort and I attended the Nottinghamshire Police Armed Forces Network Big Brew today. It was a pleasure to meet veterans and serving personnel, hear their stories, and thank organiser Steven Timperpey. Great music from the Police Band and support from the RBL too! 🇬🇧🫡

🎡 Huge thanks to the amazing PTA and staff at Richard Bonnington Primary for putting on such a fantastic Summer Fair this afternoon. It was great fun for all the children and families and I even won a new pair of shades on hook a duck! 🦆 😎

This morning I joined the 70th anniversary of the Ukrainian Language School at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, Nottingham. A joyful celebration of culture, language, and community - with performances, awards, and a mural for the time capsule. Gedling stands with Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

This evening I attended MADD’s On Broadway event alongside Michael Payne MP. It was a true showcase of talent from one of the UK’s top performing arts academies. Wishing all students, especially the graduates every success. Thanks to Principal Edward Nudd for the warm welcome! 🎭

🧑‍🦯🦮👨🏿‍🦯 Great to welcome Matt Harrison & Jo Pascoe to the Mayor’s Parlour today to discuss sight loss support in Gedling. We talked transport, healthcare, leisure & more. I am grateful for their insight and I’ll work to raise awareness & push for inclusive, practical change.

Today the #Nottinghamshire Sight Loss Councils met with Mayor for #Gedling Kyle Robinson-Payne. We discussed life for #blind and #PartiallySighted constituents. We are looking forward to working with you and your colleagues to raise awareness of #VisualImpairment throughout the borough.

This morning I was honoured to attend Portland College for their Annual Awards. The college does so much to give people with disabilities a chance to have more fulfilling and independent lives. The young people had so much confidence and are an inspiration to us all. Well done!👏

🎡I had a lovely afternoon with my consort, Wendy, at Arnold View Primary School’s Summer Fair. A huge well done to the entire PTA, governors and staff for putting on such a well-organised and fun event for the community! Plenty of funds raised for the school.

A huge well done to Gedling Play Forum on their fantastic 25th anniversary event today! Great to meet volunteers, visit the scrap store and hear about all the fantastic work taking place in Gedling. Thanks also to Mapperley & Arnold Rotary and Gedling Library for all they do!

Honoured to represent Gedling at the annual Crich Pilgrimage today, laying a wreath in memory of all who gave their lives in service. Over 100 years on, we remember the Sherwood Foresters and all who followed in their footsteps. #LestWeForget #CrichPilgrimage

Today, on #RobBurrowDay, we celebrate the life of Rob Burrow. He was a warrior in every sense - massive in heart. He tackled every challenge on and off the pitch with the same fearless grit. Rob never stopped fighting, and never stopped smiling. We are forever grateful 💙

It was an honour to welcome Girlguiding Nottm group to Gedling Civic Offices this evening. I presented Gold Awards to inspiring young people and a long service award to a dedicated leader. Their work empowers girls, builds confidence and strengthens our community. Well done all.👏

Visited Netherfield Primary with the Youth Mayor for their Sculpture Through Our Eyes exhibition. Blown away by Year 5’s powerful piece The Victorious Child, inspired by The Fearless Girl. Hoping to display it at the Civic Centre—amazing work by all involved! 👏
